The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Complex and Saragarhi Shooting Academy was inaugurated on December 20, 2023 by The Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Udayanidhi Stalin. This facility stands out as one of the most advanced and world-class shooting ranges in India. The brochure highlighting the Sports Excellence Initiatives and Achievements of the sports students was also released.
The inauguration was graced by the presence of Dr. Atulya Misra, IAS,Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Thiru J. Meghanatha Reddy, IAS, CEO/ Member Secretary, SDAT & Director of Youth Welfare.
At the inauguration of the Sports Academy GNES, General Secretary and Correspondent, Mr. Manjit Singh Nayar welcomed the honorable Chief Guest and highlighted his association with the Govt. of Tamil Nadu and the benevolent services extended by the GNES for the benefit of all.In his address the Chief Guest of the event, Thiru.Udhayanidhi Stalin appreciated the magnanimous endeavor of the institution and also urged the students to use the rare opportunity to use such world-class facilities and bring many more accolades.
